gas station/natural food store/ restaurant
In Lakewood, the Green Spot gas station is the place to be. In addition to selling eco-friendly gas, they have an excellent restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch.
The gas station was purchased in 2008 by Bruce Bagelman who had a vision for the former Mobil station as an eco-friendly neighborhood gathering spot where you could buy biodiesel fuel and natural foods.
The Green Spot is located near the bike trail at White Rock Lake, and on a typical weekend morning you will find locals from the neighborhood sitting side by side with bike enthusiasts stopping by after a ride around the lake. The Green Spot also hosts an outdoor market twice a month with vendors selling a variety of eco-friendly foods and products.
