Texas Roadhouse
Began in 1993
The first Texas Roadhouse was opened by Kent Taylor 1993. Texas Roadhouse is known by beef loving customers around the state, and entices their customers with their delicious steaks. The incredible sense of pride and energetic atmosphere makes every customer feel welcome, and they are well-known for the huge hand-cut steaks they serve. Ranging from 6 to 16 ounces, the steaks come with two made-from-scratch-sides. About, 1500 steaks get cut per week.
Some say the most interesting thing about this restaurant is the fact that they have barrels of peanuts you can eat. But, instead of throwing the shells on the plate, you throw them on the floor. People, who first experience Texas Roadhouse, find it amusing to throw the peanut shells on the floor, but that’s how you do it at the Texas Roadhouse!
