The Omni Hotel

The new Omni Hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels in all of Dallas. This hotel received LEED Gold New Construction certification, making it the largest LEED Gold hotel in the U.S. outside of Las Vegas. The omni includes 1,001 rooms with 3 presidential suites, and 67 luxury rooms. All of the rooms have flat screen TV’s as well as monitors embedded within the bathroom mirrors. And, the hotel is connected via Sky Bridge to the Dallas Convention Center.
Since the hotel opened in the new, revitalized downtown Dallas it has been a stopping point for a host of people including pop singer Lady Gaga. At night, the hotel displays an extravagant lightning show which can be seen from great distances. This hotel includes art from local artists, and is home to the world famous steak house, Bob’s Steak & Chop House, where you can get some of the best steaks in the world.

The energy-efficient lighting system at the Omni includes nearly four miles of light bars, and more than one million LED lights, controlled from a tiny room in the heart of the hotel. Pat Anderson from Matthews Southwest, the hotel's developer, runs the program, and he can change the design in less than five minutes.
